The Bulls announce Spencer Dinwiddie signing
Spencer Dinwiddie has officially rejoined the Bulls, as the team announced Thursday that it signed the guard to a contract.
The Bulls first acquired the 6-foot-6-inch guard in mid-June when they traded forward Cameron Bairstow to the Detroit Pistons. They later waived Dinwiddie’s non-guaranteed contract at the start of July, but he remained with the team. Per the Chicago Tribune‘s K.C. Johnson, the Bulls had planned on re-signing him.
Spencer Dinwiddie has cleared waivers and is on the Bulls' bench. Plan is to re-sign him for at least camp, possibly beyond.

When the Bulls announced their Las Vegas Summer League roster, Dinwiddie wasn’t listed, but he ended up playing on the championship-winning squad. He averaged 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 24.6 minutes and played in all seven Summer League games.
