Fast-Break Preview: Chicago Bulls at Charlotte Hornets (Nov. 3)

Game 5: Chicago Bulls (3-1) versus Charlotte Hornets (0-3)

Location: Time Warner Cable Arena – Charlotte, North Carolina
Time: 6:00 p.m. central
TV: Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Fox Sports Southeast – Charlotte

Quick Take

The Bulls will look to keep the Hornets win-less while also hoping to continue extend their winning streak.

Match-up of the Game

Derrick Rose versus Kemba Walker
Three games into the season, Walker acts as the Hornets’ leader in points (16.3), assists (5.3) and steals (1.7). But, with Walker at a generous 6-foot-1, Rose should be able to take advantage of this matchup and really thrive at the rim.

Looking Back

The Bulls started off November with a 92-87 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday night. The Magic went on a 14-0 run in the middle of the fourth quarter after the Bulls came into it with a 75-63 lead. That run turned the Bulls’ double-digit lead into an 83-82 lead, but they held on after connecting on crucial free throws.
The Hornets also played on Sunday, facing the Atlanta Hawks for a second time this season already. Despite that, the Hornets were unable to grab a win, but they came awfully close, taking a 94-92 loss. In the third quarter, the Hornets scored a whopping 37 points to trail the Hawks 76-70; however, they followed that with a 16-point fourth quarter—their worst offensive quarter.

Who’s Out

Hinrich is sitting again with a toe issue that also held him out of Sunday’s win over the Magic.
