Kirk Hinrich will officially be a Chicago Bull for an 11th season as of Monday.

The Bulls announced via press release that the 12-year veteran exercised his player option for the upcoming season. Per K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, his player option is worth $2.85 million.

This move doesn’t come as a surprise, though. The Johnson also reported that the Bulls expected Hinrich to opt in for the second year of the contract he signed in 2014.
